The Gipe Family has been pretty busy the past month-and-a-half, so that is why I am just getting around to posting an update! We had a wonderful, yet busy holiday season with our family the entire month of December...it all started with our annual Christmas breakfast with my mom's side of the family; saw the ever-so-hilarious Ira David Wood's "A Christmas Carol" with my mom, Aunt Elgie, Tammy, Joey and Josh; celebrated the holidays with Jason's parents who graciously drove all the way down from Asheville; went to my parents on December 23rd to celebrate Christmas at home along with my brother, sisters, and their families; continued mine and Jason's tradition on December 24th with my parents where we ate hors d' oevours and opened presents; started a new tradition with Page and Jake who helped Jason and I play Santa Claus; shared Knox's excitement on Christmas Day with my family and I as he played with his new toys; and finally, Christmas night dinner at my Aunt Elgie's =-) You'd think that would be enough excitement for one family to handle for an entire month, but it's not over yet...WE SOLD OUR HOUSE!!!! We close on February 17th and have already begun our search for our next home...so let the packing begin and the excitement continue!
